Mailing list

Research Software Engineering Google Group The best way to keep updated on the latest news and update from the group is to join the Sheffield Research Software Engineering Google Group, which will sign you up for our mailing list.
The list is for moderated announcements only (not discussion), but you are welcome to post any announcements which you feel may be of interest to the community (e.g. training or interesting talks and events)!
Newsletters and other announcements from the RSE team will be sent out to this mailing list, and you can also find them on our news page.

Slack workspace

RSE Sheffield Slack workspace The team also runs a Slack workspace for people involved with research code or software at the University of Sheffield.
Slack is not an approved IT resource for private communications. University of Sheffield staff and students should take rules on protecting personal and research data into account when posting. It's best to consider all posts as public like other types of social media (e.g. Twitter or Facebook). Interactions in the Slack workspace are covered by the Code of Conduct.
