22 July 2020 - 13:00-14:00

All of our events may be recorded and shared via the University of Sheffield Kaltura platform so those who cannot attend may still benefit. We will consider your attendance implict consent to this.

It will start with an overview of using social media data to measure the impact of real-life events and an introduction to Python. It will go on to cover Twitter data collection using the Twitter Developer API, data pre-processing and machine learning methods to process the collected data.
